This came as a player for the Utah Jazz – Rudy Gobert, has allegedly tested preliminary positive for the Corona Virus (COVID-19). As a result, the game the between the Utah Jazz and the Oklahoma City Thunder was called off seconds before tip off. Players for both teams are allegedly reported to be currently under quarantine at the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Chesapeake Energy Arena.

The league has indicated that they will use the “hiatus” period to determine the next best steps for the league as far as safety of players, employees and the public is concerned.
