Senator Robert Le Hunte Resigns

Communication from the Ministry of Communication indicated that Senator Robert Le Hunte resigned as Public Utilities Minister on the 16 May 2020 and the resignation was accepted by Prime Minister Rowley.

It is not clear if he is also resigning as a Senator and his duties as Vice Chair on the Road Map Committee mandated to give recommendations to the Prime Minister at the end of this month.

No reason has been given for the resignation.

**Update 17 May 2020 5:30 pm** Mr Le Hunte issued a post on his personal Facebook page stating that due to a policy disagreement he has resigned.
