Anglican Church Goes Online using Facebook Live

Anglican Church Facebook Live

It has been one week since the Anglican Church in Trinidad and Tobago suspended services due to continued threat of Covid-19.

Since then certain parishes have strengthened their on line and started having services using Facebook Live. One of the first priests to start was Dean Shelly-Ann Tenia of Holy Trinity Cathedral.

Below is the morning service on Friday 20 March 2020.

There are other Anglican parishes that have been streaming online. These include:

  • St Michael and All Angels
  • St Patrick
  • St Christopher’s, Fr Aaron
  • St David (Tobago)

Friday Lenten Caravan

The Anglican Bishop of Trinidad and Tobago also announced that the rest of the Lenten Carvan will also be broadcast live using Facebook. The Tobago Caravan already occurred before the Covid-19 restrictions started. However the Carvans in Trinidad had not yet occurred when the restrictions were put in place.
